WordPress Fatal error Allowed memory size

May 15, 2013 by mike231
I am using WP 5.3 and recently I started getting the error Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted.
 I located my php.ini file and edited it and increased the memory limit from  to 256M. But this didn’t solve the error.  I can’t access my dashboard.Can anyone please help me fix this error.
Many thanks in advanced

Try adding this line to your wp-config.php file right after the <?php tag
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

Edit your .htaccess file by adding this line
