Wordpress Contact Form

Nov 1, 2012 by SunFun
Hello, I have a wp site on a shared hosting server. I have installed a number of contact forms in my wordpress website but none of them seems to work. No emails are sent and I am also not getting any error messages. I also noticed that when a user registers to my site, no email is sent to the user. I am not sure what is blocking my emails from being sent. Does anyone know what could be causing this ? and what do I need to do?
Your time and advice is highly appreciated

Your host might be blocking php mail. Configure you email settings so that WordPress sends out e-mail through SMTP. You can use this plugin  http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/configure-smtp/

You can use gmail as the mail server. Simply setup a gmail account and then install the plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/configure-smtp/ and enter your gmail account details into the plugin
