Wordpress ‘404: Page not found’

Jul 13, 2012 by MirrorXYZ

I tried to password protect my site with Network Solution’s password protection, I am not quite sure what I did wrong, but ever since I tried this I can’t go to any page other than the home page. I keep getting the ‘404 page not found’ error message : “This error is generated when there was no web page with the name you specified at the web site.”
Can someone please help me sort this out?

Any help will be really appreciated

2.Check your for case sensitivity in your file name. For example index.htm is not the same as Index.htm

Try resetting your permalinks to default, and then set them back to your customization
