WordPress 403 error on my custom permalinks

Jun 19, 2013 by SaraSX

When I edit my permalinks structure I get a 403 Access forbidden! error. Anything other than the default structure causes this error to display. does anyone have any ideas what is causing this?
Appreciate any response.

This might be a permission issue. Make sure your files and folders have the required permissions. also check this http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks  and try clearing your Permalinks does

Try adding /index.php/ to the beginning of your permalink structure
