WordPress 3.5.1 Error 403 after resetting password

May 15, 2013 by SunFun
I reset my WP password  via email and now I am getting 403 when I try to open my site’s URL before I can even try the new password. I don’t know what happened and why is this happening. I tried several times with different browsers with no luck.I would really appreciate any help on this
Many thanks

403 error means forbidden site. This is probably a server issue. Check your permissions and if that doesn’t work contact your hosting provider.

Check your htaccess file and check if there are any permissions set to lockt /wp-admin/ folder to an ip address . If this is the case add your ip address to the allowed list like this
allow from your IP
then save your htaccess file and try again.
