In Shared hosting several websites are put on single server and it is cheaper than a dedicated hosting, however it has much more limits on storage and bandwidth.

As the names imply, on dedicated hosting your website is the only one hosted on the server and therefore you can utilize full hard disk size and run scripts. However with shared services many websites share the same server.

You can choose shared hosting for your website if your website will not get many visitors but if you are planning to run a popular website you would defiantly need a dedicated hosting.

Dedicated hosting is a form of web hosting whereby a single website has an entire web server dedicated specifically to it. This is the opposite to shared hosting, where many websites share a server.

There are many advantages to Dedicated Hosting, especially for large websites and those that receive a high amount of traffic. Some of the key advantages are outlined below.
Flexibility

Flexibility is greater due to not be impacted by any other websites sharing the server.

You have full control over the server.
You have a choice over operating system.
You can choose the hardware used.

Hi,
I would like to explain about the difference between shared and dedicated hosting. In shared hosting one's website is placed on the same server as many other sites, ranging from a few to hundreds or thousands. Typically, all domains may share a server resources, such as RAM and the CPU. The features available with this type of service can be flexible for website with low traffic. And dedicated hosting is a type of Internet hosting in which the client leases an entire server not shared with anyone else. This is more flexible than shared hosting, as organizations have full control over the server(s), including choice of operating system, hardware, etc. If your are interested in getting the hosting service, then I would would suggest you to visit the site http://www.9cubehosting.com/cheap_hosting/ . Where you can get the hosting packages at low cost.
