website builder Vs manual web design

Hi guys

I don't have any website designing experience, and I'm planning to start a website. The question is should I get a website builder software and do it or should I go for for manual web design from an web design agency. Noting that I'm planning to start my website small and then if it works enhance it.

kindly advice..

If you are just doing your own Home Page, then do it yourself, but if you are intending to set up some professional/commercial web site, then unless you have extensive experience yourself in web site design, you may find it better paying a professional web design artist to do the job for you.

since you mentioned that you want to start small, you can start by developing a simple website by using website builder, but it would be smart to research examples or even templates for the kind of website that you want, before you start.
