VoIP or Hosted pbx

asked Jan 2, 2014 in General by vipGuest (380 points)
Greetings all

I want to use VoIP to have a toll free number connecting 3 phones. Can anyone please suggest any ideas on how to proceed in order to accomplish this?
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should move ?  should I go for VoIP or Hosted PBX?
Any advice is welcome
Than you

you can set up your own asterisk or PBX and then choose a provider to get a toll free number from. But for only one number and 3 phone connections, this is probably not worth the investment. You can get a package such as PBX routing from a provider and make things simple. Another option would be to can get  a VoIP number with required minutes and then add  your softphones to youe mobiles.

ringcentral is esy to use, but for that you pay extra. there are other voip PBX systems that would have more features and cheaper at the same time.
