Hi..

I would like to know the difference between SSH and SSL and when to use each of them. I am trying to decide what should I use and I’m not sure because I don’t understand the difference. Can anyone please explain?

Many thanks

The two are totally different. SSH is a protocol that connects to the server’s command line interface. While SSL is a secure way an end user could browse your website and communicate with it.

SSH is text only terminal interface with  a secure shell  and SSL is  an encryption that is used mostly for HTTPS and other protocols as well
