Spam Filter is catching all address

Sep 25, 2012 by deepa1
Hello there,

I am using spamassassin and I am looking for a way to filter out anything that is addressed to something with letter and number and then letter and number combinations ex. J1b42e .  I have catch all addresses on some of my domains and they’ve been getting redirected to some weird accounts containing letters and numbers combinations, and I am trying to fix this.
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

I recommend you switch your domains to use Gmail as your email provider. You can use Gmail with your own domain.

I don’t recommend enabling catchall if you have to deal with large numbers of spam. You can create a few possible forwards and simply ignore the rest.

You can use Google Apps for this or forward your catch all address to any gmail account and then let Google identify the your spam.
