Share App folder on iOS and Android on a Sync API app

I have two versions of an App, iOS version and an Android version, both use Sync API, but I want them to connect to a same App folder. However, when I  try to connect from my Android device I get an error saying that there are multiple apps registered and that another app might be trying to impersonate the app.
Is it possible to have access to the same folder from the 2 apps with a Sync API?
Can anyone please advice?

It is possible to the same app key on Android and iOS for Sync or Core. The error you got means that you’ve got more than one app installed on the same device with the same app key. This happens when you have a sample app from SDK as well as the app you made on the same device The solution would be to uninstall one of the apps, or to use another app key on one app.
