Removing node titles for a specific content type in Drupal

asked Dec 4, 2013 in Website Builder by DruNew (1,930 points)
Hi all,
I want to delete the node title of a custom content type. I tried using the Automatic and Exclude Node titles but all they do is hide the title. Then when I display  the title in my View the automatic title is displayed.  My view has several content types. I want to choose which content type should display node title. I would appreciate any help on this.

To make a content type display the title, use the tab “ manage display” for every content and then for your teaser view, configure every one of them to display the required fields . Then you can configure your view to display your  content using this teaser view.
Try using the display suite module since it exposes more fields and gives great control over what should display.
