Plesk VPS question

asked Dec 23, 2013 in VPS Hosting by ZakWeb (3,880 points)
Hi there
I am considering using Plesk, but I am not sure if I should use it on Linux or Windows VPS. Does it make any difference? Or does it perform better on either one? I would appreciate any advice on this.
Many thanks

If you want to go with Linux I’d recommend using cPanel instead of Plesk.
Compared to Linux, Plesk is more common  in windows VPS. It is a good control panel on Windows

Plesk should work ok for both. But it all depends on the exact use you need it for. commonly Linux is used with cPanel. The support is better.

I recommended you to use the Linux VPS server rather than windows VPS server because it gives you  isolated environment. Some other differences are:
>Fewer modules on Linux VPS hosting require fewer resources required than windows VPS.
>Linux handles MySQL databases and PHP based programs perfectly.
>Increased level of flexibility.

To get Linux VPS server you can go through the ConsolePark which provide you the one of best-fit enterprise-level IT infrastructure solutions including Cloud Hosting, Enterprise VPS solutions, Disaster Recovery, Enterprise Database Management, Dedicated E-mail server, etc.
