phpmyadmin blank page

Oct 25, 2013 by sally23

I have WHM and cpanel installed on a colocation server. My problem is that whenI try opening phpmyadmin in either cpanel or WHM I get this blank page. I tried a few things I read online like /scripts/upcp(which crashed) and  /usr/local/cpanel/bin/updatephpmyadmin --force but nothing worked.
I really don’t know what to do now.
Any suggestions will be really appreciated
Many thanks

Try making use of the screen utility before you run your cPanel update if you keep disconnecting from the SSH session. http://linux.die.net/man/1/screen

Also check your cPanel error log and check the time when you attempt to load phpMyAdmin and see what you get on your error log

I know you said you  tried /scripts/upcp --force  and it crashed but try it by starting it as a background process . This will make it continue even if you were disconnected.
