Hi all, I have recently installed Norton AntiVirus, and for some reason, I am now unable to send any emails through Outlook. Could Norton AntiVirus be the reason for this? How can I fix it?
Please help.

Norton AV changes some settings in some applications. Check your outlook settings and make sure you have the login user and ftp password in the server authentication section.

hi sun..

It probably is the Norton AV since it changes the way Outlook sends emails. You will need to reconfigure it for your server. Do the following;
1.    Open Outlook
2.    Go to Tools->Accounts and click on the account you're using
3.    Click the Properties button on the right
4.    Click on the Servers Tab
5.    Next to "My Server Requires Authentication" click on "Settings"
6.    Click on "Log on using..." and enter the following information:
o    Account Name: username@domainNamee.xyz (i.e root@lemming.com)
o    Password: your primary FTP password
7.    Click "OK" twice, then "close" and your email should be sending properly.

this should fix it
