Greetings

I’m using apache on linux server and I want to know the concurrent users on my server, I don’t want to do a load test because I don’t want to kill the access to the users that are currently on my site, and replicating another mirror server will be too expensive.
Can anyone please suggest away to do this? I would appreciate any help

many thanks

hello

top (uptime) will tell you how many users are on a linux box.

Or if you are looking for users connecting to a services, you could use

netstat | grep -c http (for web server connections)

Since you're using apache in your linux server try this

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_status.html
