My Joomla database Article are 3 hours ahead

Feb 10, 2013 by Donald
Hi there
I am using Joomla 2.5 and currently hosting at Godaddy. I have noticed that in mySQL database the storing date/time is 3 hours ahead of what displays in my Joomla site (publishing date and time). Does anyone know how to make the time and date in my SQL database matches with what actually displays ?
Many thanks

Go to your Joomla configuration and set the date and time zone accordingly.
Usually MySQL uses the server time and time zone, and  Jomla uses  the server time with the time zone you have configured in your  global configuration.
