Migrating my website from WordPress to Drupal

asked Apr 15, 2012 in Website Builder by Donald (2,780 points)
Hello ,
I have a blog that gets a lot of visitors each month, and it’s currently running by WordPress, however I would like to move it to Drupal. I have some concerns regarding the following;
Some of my concerns are;
•    Security
•    Keeping the link structure.
•    Data migration
•    Tags
•    Comment System
I need the above to remain the same. Is that possible? Also how would it be done?
Please note that I only want to migrate from wordpress to drupal, nothing more no domain or infrastructure changes

I don't see a serious issue with the migration unless you're moving a domain in the process which you mentioned that you are not. As for the security and other concerns it should all remain the same, since you are not switching infrastructures.

To migrate from wordpress to drupal check the below site http://drupal.org/project/wordpress_migrate
