Logo Check command

Dec 28, 2013 by SunFun
Does anyone here know a command for log checking that has good server error check. Something that could be used for troubleshooting a server’s software, plugings and URLs?
Any suggestions are appreciated
Thank you

You can use tail command for logs on your server.

Follow the below paths to check logs

Apache server:  cd /usr/local/apache/logs/
Exim: /var/logCpanel: cd /usr/local/cpanel/logs
ssh logs: /var/log/secure
LFD: /var/log/lfd.log
Easyapche : cd /usr/local/cpanel/logs/easy/apache
FTP: /var/log/messages
For Boot logs: /var/log/dmesg

If you have the ConfigServer Firewall then you can use WHM, where you’ll find the option "Watch System Logs".
