Linux for PHP MySQL Vs. FreeBSD

I am a Linux user and I don’t know much about FreeBSD, however I am interested in exploring it and consider a future change to it. But I have some concerns and would really appreciate it if anyone here can help me clarify things. What would be the major advantages and disadvantages if I migrate my webserver from Linux to FreeBSD. And how would PHP/ MYSQL performance be affected
Any information in this is appreciated

There is a slight performance edge that might not even be noticed in FreeBSD. However the major difference between Linux and FreeBSD is in the personal preferences and features. Both are equally fast and reliable. FreeBSD have better manuals, and its ports and jails system make setup and maintenance easier. So administrating and customizing is simpler in FreeBSD. As for PHP/MySQL performance there are no noticeable differences.
