Joomla 403 error

asked Jul 29, 2012 in Website Builder by anonymous
hello all
When I try to edit a user at the back end and after saving and closing I get the below error:

403 - An error has occurred.
Access Denied
Return to Control Panel

This happens with all my admin users, so I am not able to edit any users or create new ones in
I recently started using akeeba backup, I didn’t do any other changes in settings or anything else. Not sure if this has to do anything with my problem.
Any ideas will be appreciated

From  User Manager go to Options, and then Permissions and check that the  Super User ‘s all settings are set to allowed

You mentioned that you are using Akeeba . Akeeba has a default setting that  prevents back-end edits of the user profiles. Check this link for further details
