Joomla 3 article editor

Sep 9, 2013 by deepa1

I am having some issues with a few types of code when I edit or create articles. I recently created an article using the default editor for my website (TinyMCE) then I wanted to add links to an external resources but that didn't work because of TinyMCE. So as a work around I changed the default editor to none and created a new page. This worked but it was a bit hectic. Is it ok to set the default editor to None and then create an article with the JCE editor. Or do I need to change the global configuration every time?

What you can do is specify an editor for each user. You can have one of your users using the editor you need as the default editor and this way you won’t need to change any settings every time you need to use the JCE editor.
