IPv6 addresses in shared hosting

asked Nov 30, 2012 in General by darkshark
Hi all,

I have a shared hosting and I am currently in the process of deploying IPv6 to my servers . I want to assign each user a unique IPv6, and was wondering if that would cause any problems.
Is it better to give each website/user its own IPv6 address or should it be treated like the IPv4?

You can assign an IPV6 for each domain you have. That will work just fine. Do note though that if you are a normal cPanel Host, cPanel isn’t currently supporting IPV6.
