htaccess.txt file problem

Jun 2, 2012 by Donald
Hi there
I was recently trying to make some changes in the htaccess.txt but something went wrong, and now my site is working. Luckily, I took a backup of the htaccess.txt  file before I started changing it,  but when I tried to import the backed up file using a file management the problem still persisted and nothing happened? Does anyone know how to fix this?
Please help
Thank you

Hi Donald
There could be a problem loading gthe file with the hosting file manager, like specific settings or permissions. To avoid this, delete the current htaccess.txt file from the server and then load the backup file using FTP.
