How to remove Drupal 7 menus from the front page

May 2, 2013 by DruNew
Hi all,
I am using Drupal 7 with Bartik theme, and I want my home page to be a sign in/ registration page only with no main menus. Only registered users can continue to the next page that should contain the main menu with the sub menus. How can I manage this is Drupal 7? Any help would be really appreciated.
Many thanks

You can deny unregistered users the ability to view all the content using the permissions and roles.

If you are willing to make some HTML changes then you can create a page template that is specific only for the front page.
From your current theme folder copy of the file "page.tpl.php" and rename it  tp "page--front.tpl.php."  then u clear your Drupal Cache. Go to Admin -> Configuration -> Performace and clear cache. Now edit the "page--front.tpl.php" and remove your menu calls.
Make sure you publish a node to the front page like a Welcome message sp that you don’t get the default Drupal message asking you to making content. You can later hide the message with CSS or even remove it from "page--front.tpl.php."
