I want to hide my website’s server script identity. I  am using PHP and I don’t want my programming language to show on my website. Does anyone know a way to achieve this? Kindly share if you do
Many thanks

You can use .asp or .html or . file to work as a php file so basically you can use .asp or .html extension instead of .php. To do this you need to create an .htaccess file, place it in the root folder of your website and then put the following code in it

AddType application/x-httpd-php .asp .pl
AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm .html

Now you can use*.asp as a name of the file (if you used the first line)  or *.html (if you used the second line).
