How to hide Home page modules in a specific article in Joomla

Oct 27, 2012 by Donald
Hi,

I want to hide my home page modules on specific articles on my website. My pages are mostly connected to different menu items, and I want to do this without connecting this page(where I want to hide the module) without connecting it to any menu link. Is this possible? And if so can anyone please tell me how?
Any help will be very much appreciated
Thanks in advanced..

• Go to Module manager, and then select the module you want and click edit.
• Go to Menu Assignment,  and select "Only on the pages selected" then see  that "Home" is not checked. This way the module will display on all menus except the Home menu.
• Apply the same to all the menus on your website.  When you are done click on "save"

In a recent project, I had a problem with some modules loading inside articles. So I found an extension called “Advanced Module Manager” that solved the problem. But it was very difficult to understand and to use at the begining… Now I’m working in a new project http://www.hghline.com , using Joomla, of course, and I’ll definitely try the solution you’re offering!
