Hi there
My Attrib. Set Name drop down list is sorted by ID (some one has previously changed it) and now I want to sort it in alphabetical order instead but I cant figure out how the attribute name is controlled and what files determines how the list is displayed. Can anyone please advice?
Many thanks in advanced

Change the attribute_set_id in the table  eav_attribute_set to attribute_set_name, then add a new attribute set and save.   In the file ->\website\app\code\core\Mage\Adminhtml\Block\Catalog\Product\grid.php
$this->addColumn(’set_name’,
array(
‘header’=> Mage::helper(’MyCatalog’)->__(’Attrib. Set Name’),
‘width’ => ‘110px’,
‘index’ => ’attribute_set_id‘,
‘type’ => ‘options’,
‘options’ => $sets,
...
