How can I redirect mydomain.com to mydomain.com/folder ?

Feb 28, 2012 by Kyle
I have a blog and I want the blog to be hosted at mydomain.com/blog and when someone type mydomain.com in their browser I want the browser to open the /blog directory automatically. How can I do that?
p.s: I suck at programming! :P

Well you wont need much progamming to do that. You can do it with php, javascript, apache .htaccess file OR you can simply go to your cpanel -> Redirect - > Permanent rediects and type the two URL's.

I would advise to set it with .htaccess file:
Redirect / mydomain.com/blog

If your hosting plan doesn't allow .htaccess files, then you can add redirect in your index file which is called by default when you call your domain in browser.
