How can I Clear the cache in Magento

asked Jan 9, 2013 in E-commerce by reema40
I am having some issues with Magento and I want to try to delete the cache and see if this will fix my problems, since I have never cleared the cache since I started using Magento weeks ago. The problem is that I can’t find any option in Magento itself for deleting the cache. Can anyone please help.
Thanks and regards

BTW, I've recently found one extension that makes Magento caching system much better - http://amasty.com/magento-full-page-cache.html . There is an option to clear cache automatically in the stated time. Nice!

There’s a folder in Magento  that contains all the cache, and it’s located at your Magento installation directory   /var/cache. To clear out  the cache just delete this folder.

Hi! You can clear cache in your admin area. Just login, go to System > Cache Management and choose the type of cache you need to clear. That's it!
