Firefox Isuue

asked Oct 14, 2012 in General by Mrnewguy (440 points)
I am having a problem browsing just about anything using firefox, though I was just using it yesterday and everything was fine. Now, every time I try browsing anything in firefox I get this error message "The proxy server is refusing connections, Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.” . All other browsers are working normally. I don’t want to reinstall firefox so that I wouldn’t loose all my book marked urls.. does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you

From your Firefox browser go to Tools- > Options -> Advanced->Network->Connection. You can either choose “no proxy” or "Auto- detect proxy settings for this network"
