cron job error

Aug 1, 2012 by MirrorXYZ
Hi there

I have a problem and would appreciate any help
After my cron job runs, I get the below error sent to my email

/bin/sh: -c: line 0: syntax error near unexpected token `('
 /bin/sh: -c: line 0: `mysqldump --opt -Q -u USERNAME  --password=password(word) secondpart dbname | gzip > /root/backupfolder/saturday.gz'

how can I fix this?
Thanks in advanced

You have to create another MySQL user with a normal password . The problem is caused by the ‘()’ in your password.
