clouds SAN Replication

Hi all,
I wanted to ask what do you guys think of SAN replication on the cloud? Is this a good option to consider? And are customers going towards it? I just want a general view if possible
Thank you all for your time in advanced

SAN  replication storage is expensive, and the space being  used on a single and separate replication SAN group device can be easily used to deploy  and sell Cloud machines instead of replication.
Many SAN devices use either dual PS, or dual controllers, or resilient Raid storage . Not too many customers are shifting to this SAN replication technology but I am guessing it will be used more in the nearby future

SAN replication is generally used in an Active and Standby configuration environment where If there is a  location failing another location can take its place.
