Add_custom_background() in wp

Jul 31, 2012 by Susan3
Hello all
I used add_custom_background() in my wp page version 3.4 and it just ruined my theme, everything got messed up.
I then changed the functions.php to
add_theme_support('custom-background');
but this resulted in an error message that I can toggle between drafts.
Should I downgrade?
Please help
Thanks

Change  the deprecated function in functions.php instead of
add_theme_support( 'custom-background', $args );
to add_custom_background();
without using variable arguments
you can use Filezilla FTP to look for a file functions.php  in theme folder go to wp-content > themes > your active theme > function.php and then you need to search for add_custom_background(); don’t forget to keep backup of function.php file .
